Wil as Quartermaster
quartermaster
1 a military officer responsible for providing quarters, rations, clothing, and other supplies.
2 someone responsible for the preparation, organization of something completely new.
Wil Groot –founder of “Will Do”- is our quartermaster in the second meaning of the word. He is our eyes and ears in South Africa. In October 2007 he set out on a mission. His first task was to determine the needs at different locations and projects. After that he will work on a plan of action in close cooperation with the local projects.
Wil does not receive any compensation for the work he does in South Africa, he pays his own expensive and costs of travel. The money donated to our foundation is entirely reserved for the local small-scale projects.
